While Stage Stop Campground is conveniently located 15-25 minutes from any of the major Orlando theme parks (including Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and Sea World) there is also PLENTY of things to do, and sights to take in within minutes of your RV door. Stage Stop Campground is located in Winter Garden, Florida, which was recently rated (2016) by Thrillist as the coolest Orlando suburb, and was also included in their list of the top 35 suburbs in the country.
What separates out Winter Garden from most of the frankly bland Orlando suburbs is its historic Downtown with a row of solid restaurants, and the Plant St Market, which basically functions as a totally refurbished indoor marketplace featuring a brewery, a European bakery, a juice bar, a specialty butcher shop, a whole-bean coffee shop, coal-fired pizza, and a freaking oxygen bar. – Thrillist
Downtown Winter Garden is conveniently located close to Stage Stop Campground, and is reachable by car, bicycle, or even a short walk.
Winter Garden has many local parks offering beautiful scenery and recreational activities.
Winter Garden is located on the West Orange bicycle trail (click link for full brochure and map) which offers 36 miles of paved trail extending throughout the region. Along the trail you will find fully developed trail stops with playgrounds, facilities, recreational areas, gardens, and more.

More entertainment options include the Garden Theatre located on Plant St. in downtown Winter Garden, featuring everything from local talent to full touring companies.
In the evening hours, Winter Garden comes alive with a vibrant nightlife scene. There are many locally owned restaurants (downtown Winter Garden is a historical area, and does not allow ‘chain restaurants’ in the historical zone) local pubs, martini bars, and even a brewery all located within close walking distance. Many of the establishments feature entertainment in the evenings. See local live music, and you just never know who will drop in to Pilar’s on Open Mic Night (Thursday nights 7-10p).
